Eco-Friendly Nokia Concept Phone Charges on Coke

Posted by Saad Hamid on January 23, 2010

So are you willing to give up your Coke can to recharge your cell phone? Well! then it looks like designer Daizi Zheng might have imagined the right concept for a Nokia phone that does exactly the same.

Instead of running on traditional lithium-ion cell batteries, the concept phone makes use a bio battery that generates electricity from the carbohydrates in sugar and other organic liquids. And specifically in this case, Coke acts as the source of the organics to charge the phone.

According to Zheng, such an eco-friendly phone would save the nature by producing less waste disposal that is harmful to the environment.
