Microsoft failed badly with the Kin and while we hope that the company manages to win the consumers with the Windows Phone 7, we would still love to see something like the Blue Bee.

The Busy Bee is a concept touchscreen interface designed by iKingyo that takes cue from the Honeycomb UI found in the Windows Mobile 6.5 by Microsoft and makes it even more simple, intuitive and elegant.

A social networking service based visual entertainment solutions for handheld devices, using the definition of honeycomb elements of experience design user interface, touch the rear body panels, so that the screen extends to almost the entire body, which can be greater display space and to reduce human-computer interaction in the visually impaired. Integration of new visual design language unique interface interaction, to create a new trend of social entertainment brand.

The interface is so modern that it eliminates the need of a button at all as seen on current touchscreen devices like the iPhone 4, everything is controlled from within the virtual bee UI.

The apps, icons, menus and notifications all come as little hexagons spread throughout the user-interface. The special feature of the Blue Bee is the touch-sensitive back shell that lets you navigate easily and conveniently. Let’s hope Microsoft has something like this planned for us in the future.
