Technology should be for everyone. We believe in this, but to materialize this concept in real world is quite difficult. The technology should also reach to less privileged people of our society.

The world around us is beautiful and colorful. Those who cannot see are unable to enjoy and feel any of this. How can we help them? Well, the answer is “The Readot”.

It is a creative device that translates images or texts into “dots” that people who are visually impaired can feel (or see) with their hands. Its Similar to the books printed for blind people to read. Readot is a scanner that “raises” number of dots in logical manner on its surface according to data (pictures or text). Users can “see” pictures with their hands otherwise restricted to people having eye sight only. This device can also be plugged into computer (by a USB cable) allowing users to view billions of websites and images.

It is wonderful way in which visually impaired people can have a second sight in true sense. It will be a whole new experience for these people, to look at world in a different way, yet closer to how we feel and perceive.
