We have all seen this concept by a famous technology giant about a year back or so. But for some odd reason this was not made public. The logical expatiation can be of “impracticality”.
BendDesk have come up with an innovative redesign of “multi touch table Desktop computer”. The technology behind this concept is same. It includes combination of data from projectors and cameras to read hand movements and computer reacts accordingly.
There are two displays, horizontal and vertical. They are can be used simultaneously. (Even by two different persons e.g in case of multiplayer gaming). The curved part can act as a “Task bar” or can become part of larger screen. There are no keyboards, mice, or other pointing devices and There wouldn’t be any documents or stick notes on your work table. (Cleaner and neater table to work that we all wish for).
The implications of this technology are endless. The computing will truly become paperless. Simple curve has made technology more practical and has put device within public’s reach in near future.
