Consultation.

The first step to engaging us for your home or office project is to schedule an on-site consultation with us. Someone from our team will meet you at your home or business to discuss what you would like to do, answer any questions you have, review plans, and determine a budget. From there we will create a scope of work based on our conversation that will help us in the next phase of our process — System Design & Engineering.

System Design & Engineering.

After we’ve met with you, we will go to work designing technology systems for your home or business that address your needs and do so within budget. During this step, we create a comprehensive design that includes a scope of work, detailed proposal, rough-in plan, and other schematics needed. Through this process, we are often collaborating with your builder, Architect, Interior Designer, and other trades to ensure the design incorporates the latest information and to give the other trades anything they require to complete their work as well.

Lighting Design

With our lighting design services, we take a collaborative approach, working with our clients and the build team to ensure we’re creating a thoughtful space that is warm and inviting. We will select fixtures and determine a layout that enhances the natural beauty of your home. Our design work is done in tandem with our lighting control plan, so everything works seamlessly together to help ensure a great experience.

Project Management

A smart technology project takes effective planning, organizing, and allocating resources to make sure it’s completed on time and with the desired result at fit and finish. Additionally, procedures and protocols need to be met and unforeseen problems should be resolved quickly. Our dedicated project managers oversee all details and consistently communicate with the contractor, subcontractors and owner. Job sites are dynamic with many moving parts and having a solid, experienced person responsible to bring it altogether makes all the difference. Given the multi-faceted nature of integrating different sub-systems from audio/video, lighting control, climate, security, networking, and we take a proactive approach and over-communicate every step of the way.

Installation

Putting all the parts and pieces together for smart technology and integrated systems need to be executed with skill, precision, and some finesse. As much as we value our manufacturer partners, different products and brands have nuances that require special know-how and experience to optimize installation and access all the needed functionality. Our trained technicians receive ongoing education and stay up to date on the latest standards and best practices. We take pride in executing your system design with quality craftsmanship so it functions as desired and is reliable.

Programming

The finishing touch to the commissioning of a system is programming the interfaces our clients will be used to control everything we’ve installed. This can range from keypads to remotes, to iPad apps and everything in-between. Our talented programmers are excellent when it comes to taking these systems and disparate products and rolling their control into one easy-to-use app or handheld remote and they are constantly innovating — figuring out more ways to improve the user experience.
